About this event

Discover how graphic novels can engage students and ultimately help them gain key social-emotional skills. This webinar will:

  1. Explore and review key competencies of SEL;
  2. Explain how and why graphic novels engage reluctant readers;
  3. Align SEL competencies to popular themes within graphic novels and provide a list of suggested titles to explore;
  4. Workshop ideas on how to incorporate other graphic novels that align with SEL competencies.

Zoom Webinar registration link will be provided to all registrants two days prior to this event. Educators who attend this webinar will be eligible for 1 CTLE credit.
